About this Blog
What if language teaching helped develop empathy? What if curricular materials challenged students to consider contemporary issues of justice? What if what students learned in the language classroom was beneficial to their relationships outside the classroom? This site is dedicated to these types of questions and to educators who attempt to answer them. About the Author Michael Westwood recently completed a M.A. in TESOL through Azusa Pacific University. He has approximately six years of combined professional and volunteer teaching experience. He is a husband, father, and educator who is interested in how language teaching can serve as a platform for intercultural understanding, social justice, peacemaking, and reconciliation. |
